EDDY PUI LAM CHAN is best known as a versatile Visual Effects artist with 10 years of experience in the Film and TV industry. In 2003, He was nominated for en Emmy Award in the category of “Outstanding Graphics and Visual Design” for Discovery’s Extreme Engineering. He has also worked on such popular films as, Stranger than Fiction, Journey to the Center of the Earth, and War games: The End Code.
During his Six years with Mokko Studio Eddy was exposed to a vast variety of TV and commercial projects. As the VFX supervisor he was involved in the conceptual design and complex technical production pipeline for various TV shows including Discovery’s Clash of the Dinosaurs, Discovery/Pixcom’s What’s that about 2, Whats that about 3, and Licence to Drill and Nation Geographic / Handel Production’s Naked Science 5 and Naked Science 6.
Eddy is great at sharing his vision and communicating effectively with the clients and his teams. His earlier work as a character animator (Discovery’s When dinosaurs roam America, Valley of T-rex) at Meteor Studio, has built him a solid foundation that enables him to integrate multiple tools and media creatively. His motto is “understand and respect the nature of each project, so as to weave together all the components that will ultimately make it emotionally and visually relevant to the audience”.
