Benoit Martel cofounded Boogie Studio in 2006, an audio postproduction facility specializing in sound editing and mixing for commercials, films & interactive content. In 2010, he co-founded a new division at BoogieStudio offering Online Editing & Finishing and Visual Effects. The studio offers creativity management and innovations by offering 3D Stereoscopic solutions for the film and advertising market.


He founded Talk Management System inc. in 2005, a web-based management system software for feature film and television productions. TMS manages all aspects of production from the script breakdown to file distribution and keeps track of communications, time, and costs with clients, vendors, and artists.


In 2000, he cofounded FOGstudio inc. with Sylvain Lebeau. He was in charge of accounting, financial plans, bud- gets, production management & business development. Today, the company is now the visual effects department for the Bureau de Post (www.deshed.com). He’s a leader & a team player. Benoit motivates and guides his teams during difficult deadlines and hard times. He has strong managerial skills thanks to his very good knowledge of 3D production & visual effects pipelines and technologies for feature films and television. He also has a good knowledge of the entire production process from screen writing to distribution.


Benoit is able to manage projects during the planning, scheduling, and production phases including all aspects of digital management for a feature film. He also has the ability to manage the quick pace and fast turnaround that this environment requires. In addition, he has substantial knowledge of the production & post-production industry with over 10 years of experience in various positions in the industry. He is a team player and has a great amount of experience with dealing with FX supervisors, coordinators, and other managers to develop a breakdown of all digital effects work for the project.
