Boogie Studio wins big at CREA 2013
The CREA 2013 awards ceremony, which recognized the top creative Quebecois powerhouses in advertising, was a winning night for Boogie.
First up, Boogie picked up the Grand Prix of sound for Andres Norambuena’s and Sebastien Ouellet’s work on MADD’s public service announcement, “Le Choc”. The PSA brings home a powerful message about the jarring effects of drunk driving on a young family. Strong imagery was paired with an “impressionist” sound style to create a dramatic and life-changing moment. Besides receiving the Grand Prix for sound, the Boogie team was credited for ads produced by the evening’s biggest prize winners, Sid Lee and LG2.
Make sure to check out Boogie’s original music in the ad that won the top prize of the night, LG2’s “Hymne à la honte”. It’s no wonder this ad got the top honor! Produced for the Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ), the ad uses sound playfully and in doing so, transmits a memorable message for an important cause (preventing drunk driving).
